Captain Eli. Went boating with our friends, Ken & Pam. They let Eli take the wheel. He looks so grown up at the helm. He did a great job too. He even did some doughnuts in the middle of the lake.

Fly. The butterfly is not Eli's favorite stroke. His right arm seems to have a mind of its own. It reminds me of a bird with a broken wing. The goal is always to drop time in each successive race, which Eli has done. Go Eli.

Tower of London. Hannah posing in front of the Tower of London. We didn't go inside, even though, Jason, my nephew, said it was well worth the price of admission. I figured I would save it for the next trip to London, because there WILL be a next trip.

Elephants, Elephants, Elephants. These Elephant sculptures are EVERYWHERE in London. Their purpose is to raise funds for endangered species. I started taking photos when I saw them on the first day. There were so many that I finally decided just to take photos of the ones I liked the best.

The Eye of London. A giant ferris wheel on the Thames River. It takes a half hour for it to make a full rotation. Some say it's an eyesore. I like it, however, not enough to take a ride.

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace in London. I expected it to be regal and dignified. They played a medley of Neil Diamond songs, including Sweet Caroline. They could have at least played some Elton John.

Notre Dame de Paris. (Our Lady of Paris) Cathedral. No, it is not in Ireland. I don't know where University of Notre Dame gets the name, "The Fighting Irish".

The Louvre. Had to get a picture of the glass pyramid (Remember the DaVinci code?). Had to get a picture of the Mona Lisa and everyone else taking a picture of the Mona Lisa. And of course, Aphrodite, better known as Venus di Milo.

Downtown Munich. The Bayern-Munich soccer team was in the finals vs. Milan, Italy. The game was played in Madrid, Spain. Unfortunately, Munich lost. The fans, however, came out in the thousands to a rally in downtown Munich. This photo was taken early in the day. People started gathering around 10 a.m. The team arrived around 5 p.m. I believe the church is St. Peter's.
