Anxiety Wrap. Let's just say that Sophie is a spirited dog. I have tried a lot of different ways to get her to calm down. The various methods tend to work for awhile and then, she becomes immune to them. A friend told me about this Anxiety Wrap. It was relatively inexpensive, so I bought it. It really does calm Sophie down. I don't know how it works, but, for now, it works.

Neither of us felt like swimming, but we were camping at a lake, so we headed down to the water. Eli managed to go all the way in. I managed to go in to my shoulders. Both of us can claim that we swam. After that, a little reading on the beach.

Camping with Eli. When I was camping at Sly Park two weeks ago, I made reservations for this weekend. Eli and I kept ourselves busy with Mexican Train Dominoes, Quiddler and reading.

Funeral for a friend. I attended Huie's funeral today. By the end of the day, I realized that I hadn't taken a photo, but I just didn't care. It seemed so insignificant.

Why? Came home to find that someone had stolen the brand new batteries off of the trailer. It seems that batteries are a hot commodity. The cores are recyclable. Jerks. Grr!

Power play. No respectable RV owner should be without a generator. These suckers are so expensive, but as luck would have it, I received an unexpected refund check from my mortgage refinance in almost the exact amount needed to buy one. What else could I do?

Back to the Future boat. I was watching the Giants game this evening, when they showed this cool boat  tooling around McCovey Cove. This became my photo op for the day.

On a very sad note, my friend, Huie, passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. I feel privileged to call him friend and will miss him greatly.

I need new glasses. I get really irritated that I need to grab a pair of reading glasses to see anything up close. I'm going to have to break down and get some bifocals. Is that wine in the background? I don't know, I can't see a thing without my glasses.

Maiden Voyage. We took the trailer all the way to Folsom Lake for a test run. Roger is reading up on how the various systems work. It was a great idea. We learned a lot and now won't look so much like rookies when we take it out next week.

Yogurt mishap. Imagine taking a big bite of what you think is your favorite vanilla yogurt, only to find out it's plain. Yuck! I thought it had gone bad or something. Unfortunately, the vanilla container and the plain container look very similar. I mistakenly bought a plain one. I will have to be more vigilant in the future.

All Points Bulletin. I'm putting an all points bulletin out to find just one more goblet like this one. I bought three from Target thinking I could get a fourth. I've been to every Target in town. Ugh! If I don't get this fourth one, my camping table settings will just not look right.
