This lady was riding in the middle of the street and yelling. When we pulled up next to her, she asked where Walnut Avenue was. Not sure why she had to yell that, but it comes as no surprise from a drunk lady on a bike in the middle of the night.

New dog food. A bison shortage has forced a shortage of the type of dog food I normally buy, so I had to try a new brand. The dogs like it better than the old brand and I save a few dollars. It works out for everyone, especially the bison. Ironically this new food is from the Blue Buffalo company, but it does not, apparently contain buffalo.

Trailer hunting, continued. We expanded our search area. Today, we drove to Fiddletown, about an hour away. On our way back we stopped at this little diner in Plymouth for breakfast. As advertised, it was very comforting. Service was a little slow, but the food was very good. I guess the name "The Dead Fly Diner" is better than "The Live Fly Diner."

I really do like my crepe myrtle tree, evidenced by the fact that this is the second photo I've taken of it in less than a week. This week it is coming into full bloom. The slightest breeze will send all of the blooms into the pool. At once, messy and lovely.

Shu Fan visits. Shu Fan travelled all the way from Taiwan for a short visit. I met Shu Fan in 1988 when she stayed with us for a couple of months as an exchange student. We have stayed in contact all of these years. I have an open invitation to visit her in Taiwan. I need to do that.

Shedding. My beautiful crepe myrtle tree is shedding right now. It's messy, but it does look really interesting. I look at the bark and wonder if I could use it on some craft project.

Cancer sucks. Today I visited my former co-worker, Huie. We had a wonderful visit. Huie has always had a sweet tooth and his physique reflected that particular vice right down to his big ole fat fingers. Although cancer has taken it's toll on his body, he is still the same wonderful, warm person inside. He graciously allowed me to take a photo of his hand, as I teased him about his sausage fingers. Huie and I are both San Francisco Giants fans. We made a date to watch the Giants play the Padres on tv on the 25th. We are both looking forward to it. I'll bring the ice cream.

Bedroom TV. I agreed to hold on to Zac's TV while he is traveling for the next year or so. Little did I know that it is a whopping 40". I might have to mount it on the wall.

Another finished project. I finally glued the mirror in and mounted the suitcase to the wall in the bathroom. Now we have a one-of-a-kind medicine cabinet.

A curious thing happened today. I hosted a graduation party for Zac. All the kids were here and I didn't take one picture. What?!?!? I was so busy getting the food ready and then cleaning up, by the time I thought about taking a photo, everyone had left.

Later in the evening, I went to a party at the Dorais'. Live music, dancing, etc. Still no pictures. Finally, as Roger was crossing their pond, on a narrow bridge, in the dark, I remembered to take a photo with my phone. I added some effects from my Picture Show app. Turned out kind of cool.

I get on these kicks now and again. I find something I like on Craigslist, I then look for similar items. This time it's fountains. This one works better than the one I bought earlier this month. They both are really cute. I have now satisfied my need for fountains.

I finally finished this project. I started it on May 2.(I know the date, because I took a photo of my unfinished project on that date.) There are good and bad things about allowing a project to linger unfinished for a long time. The bad: I have this nagging feeling hanging over me. The good: when I do finish the project, the sense of accomplish is greater, the longer it's taken to finish it.
