Iraq. When
Robert was
killed, Zac
was home
recovering from his own injuries. Zac attended his funeral and remains close to his family. Robert was from Boston and the quote on the bracelet is a friendly jab at the way he pronounced "howitzers" Zac wears the bracelet to honor his team mate.
Memorial Day Part 2. Mike and I biked to his parents house today (35 miles round trip-yes, I'm bragging, see yesterday) to celebrate his birthday with a bbq lunch. While we were relaxing in the backyard, their pomegranate tree was visited by several hummingbirds. I was lucky to get his shot. Those suckers are fast.
