Awards Night. The last official swim event of the season. Hannah received her retired swimmer's towel. Eli received the coach's award. Recipients of this award are kids who are, from the coaches' perspective, a joy to coach. We were surprised, and pleased, that Eli received this award. It means, that he didn't let the fact that he didn't want to swim at all this year, affect his relationship with his coaches. Way to go Eli.
way to go to both and to mama/papa for all of the sacrificed afternoons, nights, weekends supporting them in this worthwhile endeavor.
